About

The Guild was established in 1960 to encourage the development and enjoyment of art. With approximately 50 members, the Guild maintains an active schedule of demonstrations and educational meetings, as well as classes for members and non-members. The membership includes amateur and professional artists from the suburbs of Cleveland and adjoining communities. Speakers are invited to share their craft. At times, the members are asked to participate during the demo. Exhibits of members’ work are held each year, accepting any medium. Awards of Excellence in Art are made annually to two graduating high school seniors. Visitors and guests interested in joining the Hillcrest Art Guild are invited to attend a meeting.
