Hillcrest Art Guild Show Beachwood Library
March 1 – March 30
Eligibility: All members in good standing who have paid dues for the 2014 – 2015 year.
Entrance Fee: A fee of $10.00 for one piece and $20.00 for up to 4 pieces with an optional 5th piece will be charged to defray the cost of a judge, prize money, ribbons, and incidentals for the reception. Fee is to be paid at the time of drop off and checks made out to Nancy Aikins.
What : Artwork should be current and an original work of the artist. Two dimensional art work that is clean and properly and securely framed and wired (no saw toothed hangers please) is acceptable. Painted wrap around canvases need not be framed but must be wired for hanging. No over sized pieces; please consider those trying to hang them especially if they are heavy. Approx 36 inches or less in either direction is acceptable.
When: Drop Off: Friday, February 27th 9:30 to 11:00 am. If you cannot drop off your work at that time please arrange for someone to do so for you.
* Help is needed to take in artwork and fees and to hang the show and to tag the paintings. “Many hands make light work”
Reception: Sunday, March 1st 2:00 to 4:00 pm (Please bring goodies to share; cheese & crackers, veggies & dip, cookies, candy, and nuts.) We also need someone to make punch and some kind of centerpiece for the table. We are still looking for someone to coordinate these things for our receptions.
Pick Up: Monday, March 30th 9:30 to 11:00 am
Information Needed: Your Name, Title of work, Medium, Price/NFS&Value for each piece must be received by Eileen McAndrew by Sunday Feb. 22 either by phone, mail, or e-mail. The same information should be on the back of your paintings.
